In the beginning of the movie, when Cameron Diaz was breaking up with the guy, she asked him whether or not he slept with the receptionist, the guy kept denying it, but at the end, after Cameron kept asking him, and said we were breaking up anywayz, why don't you just tell me the truth. And the guy did, he admitted he did. We wanted to kick the guy for being so stupid. what was he thinking, he should have just lied. The truth would just hurt her even more. On the other hand, i was pondering why do women all want to know the "truth"? did it really matter whether or not he did slept with the receptionist at that point? I don't know....being a woman myself, i ask question that doesn't really matter anymore all the time, I ask for explanation for things that i dont' know why i need to know. For a lot of things, it doesn't really help me to know why this, why that, but when I don't know the reason why, it just bugs me. Isn't this ironic?
Maybe it's because we want to believe that if we know the reason why such things happen, then we can prevent it from happening the next time, but can we really?
The movie itself wasn't bad, but it probably just me, not really ready to watch this kinda movie, well.....but at least it's a happy ending right? that's what we are all looking for at the end.
God has answered my prayers. yes, i know, i really know and thank you Lord.
